Born in Amasya, I completed my dental education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry between 2011 and 2016. Following my graduation, I ranked 292nd in the National Specialization Exam in Dentistry (DUS) and earned the right to specialize at the Department of Periodontology at Akdeniz University, successfully completing my residency in 2020.
Periodontology is a critical discipline covering the diagnosis and treatment of gum diseases, soft tissue surgeries, management of peri-implant tissues, and oral biology. During my specialization, I had the opportunity to apply all basic and advanced protocols of this field in both clinical and scientific contexts.
I conducted my specialization thesis on "Comparison of Interleukin-1 Beta (IL-1β) and Interleukin-39 (IL-39) levels in gingival crevicular fluid in periodontally healthy individuals versus those with periodontal disease," carrying out significant research on the biochemical and inflammatory processes of gum diseases.
Periodontal treatments form the foundation of oral health and are critical for the longevity of implant and prosthetic rehabilitations. Therefore, I prioritize scientific-based, biologically compatible, and painless treatments that focus on preserving natural teeth.
