Initially, I only wanted an implant placed, but I found the UK pricing bewildering—it's extraordinary that a minor surgical procedure could rival the cost of a used automobile. I resolved to try treatment in another nation. What impressed me most was the meticulous coordination. Everything was streamlined and efficient. What Should Your Quotation Show?
Implant system and number of implants. Your plan names the brand recommended for your case and how many implants are needed, because these two factors change the price more than anything else.
Every restorative component. Abutments, temporary teeth where required and the final crowns or full-arch prosthesis should each appear on the quotation, so you can see exactly what the total covers.
Scans and additional surgery. Imaging, extractions, bone grafting or sinus lifting are listed separately when your case needs them.
What Can Change the Final Price?
Bone grafting, sinus lifting, extractions, additional implants or a different prosthetic material can all change the total. These needs cannot always be identified from photographs, so imaging and a clinical examination may be required before your plan is confirmed.

A dental implant is a titanium or zirconia fixture placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Over the following months the implant fuses with the surrounding bone, a process called osseointegration. Once healing is complete, the implant can support a crown, a bridge or a full-arch prosthesis.
Unlike a conventional bridge, a single implant replaces a missing tooth without relying on the neighbouring healthy teeth for support.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Dental Implants?
Dental implants may suit adults with one or more missing teeth who have enough jawbone to support an implant and whose oral and general health allows predictable healing. Suitability is decided individually, using your medical history, a dental examination and imaging such as a panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan.
You may be suitable if you have one or more missing or failing teeth, healthy gums or gum disease that is under control, enough jawbone or suitability for bone augmentation, good oral hygiene habits and general health that allows minor oral surgery.
When Might Treatment Need to Be Delayed or Changed?
Active gum disease, uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking, low bone volume and some medications or medical conditions can affect healing. Having one of these does not automatically rule out implants. Your dentist may treat the condition first, adjust the plan or suggest another option.
Which Type of Dental Implant Treatment Do You Need?
The right treatment depends on how many teeth are missing, how much bone remains, the condition of your existing teeth and the restoration you want.
Single Tooth Implant
One implant replaces one missing tooth and supports an individual crown once healing is complete. The neighbouring teeth stay untouched.
Full Mouth Dental Implants
Full mouth dental implants are designed for patients who have lost, or are expected to lose, most or all teeth in one or both jaws. Several implants support a fixed or removable full-arch prosthesis, and the number needed depends on bone anatomy, bite forces and the planned restoration.
All-on-4 Dental Implants
All-on-4 dental implants use four implants to support a full arch of teeth and may be an option for some patients with reduced bone volume. Suitability is confirmed with a clinical examination and 3D imaging.
All-on-6 Dental Implants
All-on-6 uses six implants to support a full arch. The extra implants spread bite forces in suitable cases, although more implants are not automatically better for every patient.
All-on-8 Dental Implants
All-on-8 places eight implants in one arch. It needs sufficient bone and is chosen according to your anatomy and prosthetic plan.
Same-Day Dental Implants
With same-day dental implants, the implant is placed and a temporary restoration is fitted in the same appointment. Immediate loading depends on implant stability, bone quality and bite forces, so it is not suitable for everyone.
Mini Dental Implants
Mini dental implants have a smaller diameter than conventional implants and are used in selected situations, including stabilising some removable dentures.
Non Surgical Dental Implants
Non surgical dental implants is the common name for computer-guided implant placement. Implant placement is still a minor surgical procedure, but a 3D scan is used to plan the implant position digitally and a surgical guide transfers that position to the mouth, which can allow a smaller opening in the gum in suitable cases. Whether guided placement suits you depends on your case.
What Supporting Procedures May Be Needed?
Some patients need extra treatment before or during implant placement because there is not enough healthy bone to hold an implant predictably.
Bone Grafting
Dental bone grafting rebuilds bone volume where the jaw has shrunk after tooth loss or disease. The technique depends on where the bone is missing and how much.
Sinus Lifting
Sinus lifting increases bone height in the back of the upper jaw when the maxillary sinus leaves too little bone for a conventional implant.
Zygomatic Implants
Zygomatic implants are longer implants anchored in the cheekbone rather than the upper jawbone. They may be considered for selected patients with severe upper jaw bone loss and require specialist assessment.

Most international patients complete conventional implant treatment in two visits to Turkey, around 3 to 6 months apart. Treatment takes place at the DentalAYS clinic in Antalya, and the exact timeline depends on bone quality, the number of implants and any additional procedures.
Stage 1: Remote Assessment Before You Travel
Send us any dental X-rays, scans and photographs you have. Our team uses them to prepare a preliminary plan with an estimated cost and the expected number of visits. A remote assessment does not replace the examination and imaging carried out when you arrive.
Stage 2: First Visit to Turkey
The first visit usually lasts 3 to 5 days. After a clinical examination and imaging to confirm bone anatomy and implant position, your implants are placed under local anaesthesia. Extractions or bone augmentation can be carried out in the same visit when needed. Temporary teeth are provided when clinically appropriate, although not every single implant case is suitable for an immediate temporary crown.
Stage 3: Healing at Home
Most patients fly home while the implants fuse with the bone. Healing usually takes around 3 to 6 months. You leave with written aftercare instructions, and our team stays in touch remotely during this period.
Stage 4: Second Visit and Final Teeth
The second visit usually lasts 5 to 7 days. Once healing is confirmed, your final crown, bridge or full-arch prosthesis is fitted and your bite is checked before treatment is completed.
What Is Included in Your Dental Implant Trip?
